I had a garage sale a few times this summer. There were some items that did not sell. As I was putting the items that didn't sell into a garbage bag to haul to D.I., I came across this skirt that I just loved. I bought it for the fabric. I just loved the pattern and liked how light weight the material was. Unfortunately I never got a chance to wear it (due to my rapidly increasing waistline).
I also came across this light cotton blouse. I've had this little cotton blouse for almost a decade. I think I got it at The Wet Seal.
I kept it around for so long because, well, I looked good in it. Then, after I couldn't wear it I kept it because, once again, I loved the fabric. The detailed embroidery and the little lace trim...I couldn't find anything similar that I liked.

Thay look way cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea! I see shirts all the time that wouldn't fit me but I love the details in the fabric. They turned out so cute! Thanks for linking!

ReplyDeleteoh i like those! very nice refashion!!!1
ReplyDeleteGinny- Those are really fun. It's nice to have the accents, especially when there's a story behind them. I saw on facebook that you're making a car seat tent. I'd LOVE to see it when you finish, and does this mean you're making an announcement?
