So, life has been incredibly busy and stressful for me up until this last week. A few months back I started a bunch of projects and never finished them. This med cabinet is the first in a LONG line of many projects to be finished before the end of the year.

We remodeled our bathroom almost a month ago, and our med cabinet was going to clash with the color scheme. SO I decided to repaint it.

It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but at least it's to a point that it can still be cute and functional. You can't tell from the picture, but sprayed the hinges a silvery color, and I changed out the handles from the round, gold knobs to these cute little "rusty" hearts that I found back in June at a craft store that was going out of business. I baught a HUGE bag full of different shapes for only $4.
I also tried to give the cabinet a distressed look. I thought that giving it only 1 really thick coat of paint would help with that look.

Like I said, it didn't turn out how I imagined it would look, but it's cute and functional for now...so maybe when the rest of my other projects are finished I'll come back to this one.
